Class Schedule
Our classes are designed with the busy girl in mind, our popular projects are easy to
master with a short class duration for the gal who’s had a busy day but loves to bead! And
we’ve included sales tax and most all materials needed for the projects. What could be
better! Stop in today to sign up or give us a call.
Basic Stringing and Bead Knotting Level: Beginning 1 - 1.5 hours $27
This is the best basic class for learning to use bead stringing wire, crimp beads and bead
cord. Anyone can do this project. Learn to make a single strand bracelet of your design as
well as learn to an easy way to knot in between beads on bead cord. We supply an
assortment of beads to choose from for you to design your bracelet. Then you will learn to
secure the ends with a clasp. It’s that simple! Your design just the way you like it. All
materials and sales tax included
What you leave with: A single strand bracelet and bead stringing skills

Wire Wrapping Level: Beginning 1.5 - 2 hours $27
Learn the essential wire wrap technique that is used in nearly every aspect of beading. We
will practice making the loops and wraps using craft wire and beads, connecting them
along the way so that you get the idea of a consistant loop size and clean wrap. Then we
will learn the triangle wrap for a top drilled stone or bead and a special bonus, learn to
make your own headpins using a common kitchen torch. Finally, you will make a pair of
simple earrings using your newly learned skills. All materials and sales tax included
What you leave with: A pair of earrings and wire wrapping skills

Bottle Cap Jewelry Level: Beginning 1 - 1.5 hours $29
Everywhere you look you see them. Necklaces and bracelets made out of old bottle caps
with cute funky pictures in them. In this class we will use images-either ours or yours to
cover with resin maybe adding a glitter or two to make two funky bottle cap charms. Make
a beaded stretch bracelet to go with one of them in class. Sales tax and
materials included NOTE: The resin takes 24 hours to cure. For best results, leave here to
cure overnight.
What you leave with: A stretch bracelet with a bottle cap dangle plus one
extra finished cap
Wed Nov 19th 6:30-8pm Tues Dec 16th 6:30-8pm
Funky Odds and Ends Bracelet Level: Beginning 1 - 1.5 hours $29
Instant gratification! Make a funky charm bracelet with your odds and ends of beads,
charms and found objects. We’ll attach using jump rings and head pins. We will have
some odds and ends on hand if you need them. Some materials and sales tax included
What you leave with: A funky charm bracelet

CLASS POLICIES
Payment due in advance to secure your space. Minimum of 3 people needed for a class to
proceed.
PLEASE READ: Refunds are given minus a $5 registration fee if we have 7 days notice
before class. After that, no refunds. This includes sick calls. Transfers will be made if we
have 7 days notice before class. If you can't make it to a class for any reason, feel free to
send a friend in your place. We make every effort/accommodation for scheduling conflicts
and sickness up to 7 days before class.
Fireweed Bead Co. reserves the right to cancel a class for any reason and at any time.
Refunds will be made accordingly.
If you have any tools, bring them, otherwise we have a limited number of loaners available.
Basic tools are: Needle nose pliers, round nose pliers and small cutters.
Good eyesight or aids are a plus for beading. If you have glasses
or a magnifier, bring them along for a more enjoyable experience.
Please be courteous to fellow students and the instructor by being on time to class. This
just makes it more fun for everyone :o)
